Local Recommendations

Fort Collins Tours recommends these great businesses in the Old Town area!

Happy Lucky's is a cool little tea shop next to Jilly Beans on Walnut Street. They have dozens of teas to choose from, which they will either brew on the spot or sell by the ounce.

Located on College near Mountain, Starry Night is a favorite hangout and a great place to stop in for a cup of coffee. They also have some of the best homemade goodies you'll find in Fort Collins.

A truly unique experience and a Fort Collins favorite, the Old Town Spice shop has every kind of spice you can imagine. They also have a friendly staff on standby waiting to answer your questions about every spice they sell.

A little off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find. Pateros Creek brews a variety of Fort Collins favorite beers from "Lady Moon" to "Car 21". Stop in and get a sampler if you've never tried their beers. Then leave with a growler of your new favorite beer!

One of the most popular (if not the most most popular) Italian restaurants in Fort Collins. Bisettis is rich with flavor and warm ambiance. Looking for a recommendation? They may very well have the best Eggplant Parmesan you've ever tried!

A new cool little hang-out off the beaten path. Like Pateros Creek, you have to look for this one a little. It's located off of the Old Firehouse Alley (behind Happy Lucky's and Jilly Beans). The Forge has enough interesting beers to keep the beer connoisseurs coming back throughout the year to try something new.

Walrus Icecream

Off of Mountain and near Rio, Walrus Icecream is a locals favorite. Don't believe me? Check out the line of folks waiting for Icecream on Friday evenings. They must be doing something right! Luckily, there's usually not a line during the day. They have some incredible flavors and are well worth the stop if you are visiting Fort Collins.

A great place to stop in for great Bar-B-Que. We especially like their side dishes.
